What is Fosroc Brushbond RFX?

Brushbond RFX is a highly effective elastomeric Cementitious coating designed to deal with waterproofing issues and for the protection of atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete structures that have experienced an attack by acid gases, chloride ions, oxygen & water. Brushbond RFX which consists of Brushbond RFX powder and Nitobond BBX acrylic emulsion is an acrylic polymer modified cementitious coating. With the addition of clean water, Brushbond RFX yields a brushable coating. You can use a stiff brush, roller or trowel to apply Brushbond RFX to achieve the preferred thickness.

Brushbond RFX can be used on all types of structures including those in coastal environments. It can be used on concrete, brick and blockwork substrates and is apt to use for new and existing structures.

Brushbond RFX is created to reface, level out and deal with the inconsistencies in concrete and masonry surfaces and bridge shrinkage cracks.
