What is Fosroc Decofill?

Fosroc Decofill acrylic sealant is a white acrylic based gap filler that comes in the form of a paste and is to be applied from a cartridge. The application of Fosroc Decofill is quick and easy and can be finished or smoothed off with a spatula or a damp sponge. It sets quickly when applied and accepts paint or wallpaper finishes.

Fosroc Decofill Uses

Fosroc Decofill acrylic sealant can be used for typical applications such as for gaps between skirtings, window and door frames, fitted furniture units and ceiling cornices and adjacent plaster work. Fosroc Decofill acrylic sealant can also be used for replacement windows to make good between new frames and interior plaster work.

Painting and Wallpapering

Fosroc Decofill acrylic sealant can be painted or papered when required. Fosroc Decofill requires a minimum of one hour after finishing and overnight drying is essential to allow for any drying shrinkage. Use any conventional emulsion paint or oil paints for painting provided the sealant has been fully cured. Take into account not to apply paint or paper over moving joints, as they will restrict movement with possible damage to the paint, paper or sealant. Priming is recommended for very porous surfaces.
